The Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 player auction wrapped up in Kathmandu on August 10, where 37 players were selected by the 8 teams from a pool of 164 candidates.
Among the selected 37 players, Lumbini Lions secured 5 players including Sher Malla (All-rounder), Dilip Nath (Wicketkeeper Batter) for 10 Lakh each, Durgesh Thapa (All-rounder), Bishal Patel (Batter) for 5 Lakh each and Aadil Khan (Wicketkeeper Batter) for 2 Lakh.
These new signings significantly strengthen the Lions’ squad for the upcoming season. The players add valuable depth and experience in the squad, which could give the Lions a competitive edge.
