The Lumbini Lions are a professional cricket team proudly representing Lumbini in Nepal Premier League.
Founded in Lumbini — the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha and a region known for its rich history, culture, and resilience, with a purpose; a purpose of setting an example of our strength, unity and amibition as we don’t just play game — we shape it, being the Pride of Nepal.
" It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Lumbini Lions.
Lumbini Lions represents the spirit, pride, and passion of Lumbini Province and its people. As a
team, our vision goes beyond cricket. We aim to build a strong sporting culture, inspire young
talent, and create a platform where dedication, teamwork, and determination come together.
Our journey is built on the support of our fans, the commitment of our players, and the trust of
our partners. Winning the Nepal Premier League 2025 was a proud milestone, but we believe it
is only the beginning of a much bigger journey.
As we move forward, we remain committed to representing Lumbini with pride, competing with
purpose, and creating a lasting impact on Nepali cricket.
I sincerely thank our players, coaching and support staff, partners, and most importantly, our
incredible fans for being part of the Lumbini Lions family.
Let us continue to roar together."
