Rupandehi delivered a dominant performance to secure a commanding 9-wicket victory over Kapilvastu, booking their place in the Final of the Red Paltan Championship 2026 presented by BamBam Hydration Drink.
Batting first, Kapilvastu struggled to build momentum against a disciplined Rupandehi bowling attack and were restricted to 90/6 in their 20 overs. Sehbaj Ali Darji top-scored with 40 off 50 balls, but economical bowling spells led by Suraj Khadka (2/8) kept the scoring rate firmly in check.
In response, Rupandehi made light work of the 91-run target, cruising to 93/1 in 15.3 overs. Sandeep Yadav spearheaded the chase with an unbeaten 53 off 56 balls, while Bishal Bhusal added a solid 19* to complete a comfortable win with nearly five overs to spare.
With this emphatic victory, Rupandehi join Dang in the grand finale to set up a blockbuster title clash at the Red Paltan Championship 2026.
