Championship 2026 is all set to bring competitive cricket to the heart of
Lumbini, with eight teams representing the districts of Lumbini Province
competing for the championship title.
The tournament will be
played from October 2 to 5, 2026 at the ExtraTech Oval International
Cricket Stadium, Butwal.
The action begins on
October 2 with Rupandehi taking on Pahadi Sena followed by Nawalparasi
vs Kapilvastu. Banke will face Bardiya and Dang will meet Palpa on October
3 with the winners advancing to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take
place on October 4 followed by the Grand Final on October 5.
With eight teams, intense
district rivalries and one championship on the line the Red Paltan
Championship promises four days of exciting cricket.
